Ballet Class Part 1

After the first few premiere barre exercises, the girls with the men and women in class are already feeling the California heat. Piano music drowns out their quiet complaints and the next combination is announced:

devellopees, front, side, back…

"Keep using your abs! Push in your belly button, your leg will go up. Square hips like Spongebob." and other phrases are commanded by the Russian trained mistress.

It still amazes me how high these legs go. Inhuman to say the least. I can’t even bring mine to 50 degrees, 45 is all I can manage. Water is drunk like wine here and none of it is wasted. The fans are on and now we move on the next combination.

facing the barre they practice pirouettes.

Only one hour to go after this.

For ballet class I’m taking notes and I will be informing all my ballet babies what’s happening.

Though it’s nothing you’ve not heard before.

This girl is Ryan Lee. Probably you all know her because she have an amazing ballet blog. And her blog has stunning photos of her. And she is amazing. And you can see her talent in the gifs! I started doing gifs and I found her gifs very interesting and beautiful. She has lots of videos of her dancing in her youtube channel (ryloism) so there are lots of videos that I enjoy converting to gifs. I absolutely enjoy watching her. So probably I’ll do more gifs from her videos. <3 Enjoy her dancing

Reblogging this gif I made 8 months ago to say I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO SEND ANON HATE TO RYAN (Ryan or another person). SHE’S BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING. ARE U ANONS KIDDING ME????

the answer is simple, my dear: anons are just envious! :P Ryan is the most gorgeous and cutest ballerina!

"She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock. She was Lola in slacks, she was Dolly at school. She was Dolores on the dotted line. But in my arms she was always - Lolita. Light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin. My soul. Lolita."
